Facts or Friction?
Facts are sacred, as the saying goes, but not all ‘facts’ are facts, if you know what I mean. So here’s your chance to help us sort some real, qualified facts from the ones that can lead to friction, particularly where environmental topics are concerned… Check out here those I have stumbled across online and posted to the HomeZeroHome Digg profile. There are a couple of BBC News stories here – one that suggests, thanks to a ‘message from the past’, that our governments have underestimated our CO2 emission reduction targets. Another BBC story points out that 1998 was hotter than 2007 and that global warming could in fact be just a blip in the energy emitted by the sun. And the third, is just something I found that talks about the UK’s “first” and “largest” zero carbon housing development. If you can help me sort the “Facts from the Friction,” then give this blog a shout! Thanks.
